Thanks much/ are you referring to the 2 5/8" or the 8" stem?
Making the large stem bases is a touch more labor intensive than building a more standard-set stem, but less so than making/ setting up/ finishing an additional slip cover to afford the user the opportunity to switch between stems. This is proving to be a viable option, and will likely be used and built on as we continue to work on new developments to the pipe lines.

This particular pipe is set up for the Kayfun V3 Mini to be concealed beneath the slip cover.
