(not even sure if that's a word!)
I just do not have the interest (or dexterity) to rebuild my atomizer, so the Kayfuns that many seem to use are out. My original (trial) pipe has a non-standard Chinese atty, and I knew that I wanted a 'real' pipe very soon after firing up that trial pipe for the first time. Now, with Ken building one for me, I have selected a black finish Nautilus X tank, based in part on the positive reviews I've read and comments from a couple of users of the X.
What I am curious about is if anyone here has experience with the X, and if so, what mouthpiece do you use. I know Ken includes a mouthpiece kit you can shape yourself, but I am looking at the X (it arrived today) and I am wondering how it will seal with the mouthpiece. Ate their O rings in the mouthpiece? an adapter? There are no sealing O rings on the X's tip.

And I am wondering if I have made a big mistake with the Nautilus X.....

Bookbear the Nautilus-X has a different drip tip as you have noticed. It is a very nice atomizer other than the mouthpiece. Get in touch with Sam at Freighttrain Mods. He can make you a custom pipe stem that will fit on the Nautilus-X and work very well. He made one for mine.

Or, you can send me the lid and drip tip, and we'll set a stem up for you using the proprietary drip tip as the attachment.

Much appreciated, Ken! I have ordered one from Sam at Freight Train Mods. But it certainly wouldn't hurt to have a 'spare'. How far along are you on my pipe? I probably wouldn't be able to sent the top and tip until next week, and it would be nice to have all the bits and pieces at the same time. I am wondering, though.... If I get a second (different) tank with a standard fitting, perhaps I should stick with your stock kit? That way, Sam's mouthpiece and the Nautilus for one flavor, and a different tank and your mouthpiece kit for another flavor.
Regards, Mark

Regards, Mark Mark - I'd like to see that batch of bodies finished up later in the coming week - depends, of course, on what the week holds in store. If you want to send your lid and drip tip over, I'll be glad to work up a stem for you to try out. You'll still have the stem kit that is included in the Huntsman Package to build and work with on another atomizer should you choose - such as when you get tired of buying pre-made coil heads, and/ or begin to seek to have greater input into your piping build. Let me know how I can help. /K

Jade is rocking a Kabuki tank..... its takes a dropin coil (nautilus) and the flavour is WELL BEYOND nautilus. Ive been road testing this all week..and im impressed.

From the forum thread it sounds like it's either the Kabuki or the Kayfun. Obviously the Kabuki is a tank designed for premade coils but does anyone have experience with both? Wondering what the noticeable differences are between the smoothness of the vape and taste may be? Thanks in advance. Ryan

Both are very good. For me it is kind of a toss up. I just like then both. Most of the time I run a Kabuki on my ZNAmod and Kayfun on my pipes. I don't really notice a dramatic difference. A lot depends on how you vape and the type of juice you like. The Kayfun is a little more customizable but you have to build coils. The kabuki uses premade coils but they are good coils however you have no customization. Either way you go it will be a good vape and both work well on pipes. I hope I made that clear as mud.

I would say that GW is right..it does depend on your jooce and your vape style. I have both KFM V2.1 and Kabuki... i use Captn Black Cherry NET in Kabuki..and a lovely custard jooce 'Daft Spunk' in the Kayfuns.
I will say..they are both NOT cheap. But you get what you pay for..its well worth it in my humble opinion.
