Thank you for your interest in PipeSmith.
Yes, the part referred to in the o-ring update is #7 - Center Post Insulator.
With an understanding of how this insulator is seated in the tank, the insulator has a larger diameter base, with a smaller diameter upper shoulder; it is this upper shoulder that I remove in order to make room for the o-ring that we're adding in.

We're making plans to return the PipeSmith Limited Series E-pipes, likely at the first of January, 2019. After a little over a year to refine the G5 Fire Kit, and subsequently develop the G5x Fire Kit, and now I'll likely focus the building efforts more towards the upper-end custom pipes.
As always - your input is valued with us, and I am always curious to hear the various thoughts of the PipeSmith family; let me know what you think.
